Bhubaneswar: On Saturday, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan presented appointment letters to 204 young individuals during a ceremony in Bhubaneswar.
This event was part of the 16th Rozgar Mela, which was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video link.
Across 47 locations, including Bhubaneswar, a total of 51,000 appointment letters were distributed to newly recruited youth in various government sectors.
During his speech, Pradhan highlighted that since its inception in 2022, the Rozgar Mela initiative has successfully facilitated the recruitment of over 1 million young people into government roles nationwide.
He reiterated the government's dedication to promoting good governance, ensuring transparency, and empowering the youth.
Pradhan also commended the Odisha government's initiatives, noting that inspired by the central program, the state has organized Nijukti Melas, which have created between 25,000 and 30,000 job opportunities within a year.
